Asheville - Patricia Anne (Harvard) Godbold, 77, of Asheville, died unexpectedly Monday, November 4, 2019 at Mission Hospital.

Born in Montgomery, AL, she was the wife of Dr. Ronald Lee Godbold of Asheville. She was the daughter of Mary Monaree (Weaver) Harvard, resident of Limestone, TN and the late Thomas Earl Harvard, and was also preceded in death by a sister, Marla Hassell.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by two daughters, Brannon Godbold of Fletcher and Dr. Colby Colasacco and her husband, Robert, of Weaverville; her "adopted" daughter, Laura Dominkovic, of Croatia; a granddaughter, Ariana Holloway; a brother, Thomas Harvard; and 2 sisters, Carole Hamilton and Della Harvard.

She was a member of Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Asheville, where she met her lifelong friends, the Unicorns.

Patricia was dedicated to improving the community through her volunteer work with many organizations including the BCMS Auxiliary, Health Adventure, Children's Welfare League, Guardian Ad Litem, and Meals on Wheels.

She enjoyed many activities including book of the month club, Mexican trains, Park Avenue POA and investment club. She was a master planner and organizer, a generous friend and an adventurous traveler through life - always known for her kindness and beautiful smile.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm on November 15th, 2019 at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Asheville.
