Rosa Lee Harwood
Woodfin - Rosa Lee Hamlin Harwood, 95, of Martel Village was at her home with her loved ones by her side when God called her home Friday, November 16, 2018.
She was a daughter and the oldest of 7 children of the late Guy and Blanche Deweese Hamlin and wife of Roy Andrew Harwood who died in January 1986.
Mrs. Harwood retired from Burlington Industries following 29 years of service. Her most favorite time was sitting on her front porch basking in the sun. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Friend to all that knew her.
Surviving are her daughters, Glenda Stines (Jimmy), Nancy Raymer (Mike), son, James D. Harwood and daughter of the heart, Brenda Marlor (Doug) all of Asheville; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, November 21, 2018 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Tim Warren officiating. Burial will follow in Elk Mountain Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family would like to thank CarePartners Hospice for their loving care and attention and a special thanks to her nurse, Susan.
