We were best friends until about high school, and she's part of so many of my happy childhood memories. I can't imagine the horror her family is going through in their grief. My deepest sympathies. Why do some get to stay and others die so young?

It is with great sadness in my heart that I send condolences to the Conklin family. Kim was almost like my niece when I coached her in soccer. The world will be a truly sadder place without her. May God fill her family with the Holy Spirit to guide and comfort them in their times of grief and mourning.
