Philip J. "Butch" Pisano Jr. Obituary

Philip J. "Butch" Pisano Jr., 75, of Larksville, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2020, at home, now joining his beloved wife, Ann, in heaven.

Born July 12, 1944, in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Philip J. Pisano Sr. and Ann Barone Pisano. He was a graduate of Meyers High School and a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Parish, Wilkes-Barre. Butch was the owner and operator of Phil's Sunoco Service Station, South Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, for 62 years. The service station was established in 1958.

He enjoyed horse racing and loved making wine. Butch enjoyed spending time with his wife, his children and his grandchildren. His family was his life.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Ann J. Subache Pisano, on June 1, 2018.

Surviving are his loving children, Philip J. Pisano III and his wife, Tracy, Larksville; Mark A. Pisano and his wife, Alison, Hunlock Creek; and Jeanine Mahle and her husband, John, Larksville; grandchildren, Philip IV, Kristin and Alyssa Pisano; Travis A. Pisano; Kiana Mahle and John Mahle IV; brothers and sisters, Rita Doherty, Massachusetts; Marie Williams and her husband, Bill, Dallas; and Patricia Culver, Wilkes-Barre; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, 530 W. Main St., Plymouth.

Family and friends are invited to meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Robert Bellarmine Parish, Wilkes-Barre, for Mass of Christian Burial, followed by interment in St. Casimir's Cemetery, Muhlenburg.
