Samuel M. DePrimo Obituary

Samuel M. DePrimo, 85, of Pittston, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2020, at his home, with his family by his side.

Born Oct. 6, 1934, in Pittston, he was the son of the late Santa Tirone and Giuseppe DePrimo.

Sam was a graduate of Pittston High School. He worked for many years in the garment industry for various local companies. Later in life, Sam retired from Bridon American Corp., Hanover Twp., as a wire technician.

Sam was an avid bowler. He looked forward to league night every Wednesday. Most of all he was a truly a family man. He especially cherished the moments he was able to spend with his children and siblings.

In addition to his parents, Sam was preceded in death by brothers, Frank and Paul DePrimo; and sisters, Nora Sperazza, Lillian Bartosiewicz, Rose DePrimo and Mary DePrimo.

Surviving are his wife, Phyllis Cebula DePrimo, Pittston; son, Samuel E. DePrimo and wife, Kathryne, Carlsbad, Calif.; daughter, Amy DePrimo and husband, Shaun Cisson, North Plainfield, N.J.; granddaughters, Isabella and Carina DePrimo; and sister, Josephine Endres, Avoca.

Funeral services are in the care of Graziano Funeral Home Inc., Pittston Twp.

Due to the ongoing restrictions, there will be a limit of 25 people, including family, in the funeral home at one time. Please be courteous to others and do your best to pay your respects in a timely fashion. Masks are required.

Viewing hours will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Interment services will be private and held at the family's convenience.
