Ariel Jeannine Bebo Obituary

Miss Ariel Jeannine Bebo, 15, a resident of Plymouth, fell asleep in the Lord quietly and peacefully early Saturday morning, Sept. 12, 2020, at the family residence, most unexpectedly.

Born April 11, 2005, in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter to Todd W. Bebo, Jennifer Yashkus Bebo and stepdaughter to Jeffrey Phelps.

Educated in the Nanticoke schools, Ariel was currently a sophomore at the Greater Nanticoke Area Jr./Sr. High School, Nanticoke, and attended Holy Assumption of Saint Mary Byzantine Catholic Church, North Wilkes-Barre.

Ariel was so loved by all those she touched during her short time in this life, especially her adoring family, fellow classmates and dear friends. Her presence will be greatly missed and the void from her absence will never be replaced.

She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Levi Phelps; and most recently by her paternal grandfather, Richard Post, on May 30, 2020.

Left to cherish the wonderful memories they hold so dearly of her are her mom, Jennifer Yashkus Bebo, at home; father, Todd W. Bebo, Dallas; stepdad, Jeffrey Phelps, at home; younger sister, Brooke Bebo, at home; maternal "Nana," Judy Williams, Wilkes-Barre; paternal grandma, Cheryl Post, Shickshinny; aunts, Heidi Marr, Shickshinny; Jeannine Yashkus, Wilkes-Barre; uncles, John Yashkus, Wilkes-Barre; and Jeffrey Yashkus, Hanover Twp.; numerous cousins, fellow classmates and friends.

Private family funeral services will be conducted from the North Wilkes-Barre location of the John V. Morris Family Funeral Homes Inc., 625 N. Main St.

The Rev. Michael Kerestes, pastor of Holy Assumption of St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church, North Wilkes-Barre, will serve as celebrant.

Relatives and friends may pay their respects to Ariel's family from 5 until 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Facial masks are required by those in attendance while the funeral home staff will ensure social distancing guidelines are strictly adhered to for everyone's safety.
