Joseph L. Jordan, 54, of Plains Twp., passed away peacefully Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020, at his home. Born in Plains Twp., he was the son of Florence Krupinski Jordan, of Plains Twp., and the late William H. Jordan Sr. Joseph will be remembered as being a loving father, brother, son and grandfather. Joseph was a life resident of Plains Twp. and enjoyed going for long walks and hikes up The Tubs and Hickory Run State Park. He also enjoyed spending every minute he could with his granddaughter, Carly for whom was his pride and joy. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Joseph E. Conlon, Post 558. Joseph was preceded in death by his father, William; and brother, Matthew Jordan. Joseph will be missed by his mother, Florence Jordan, Plains Twp.; son, Joseph V. Jordan, Virginia; son, Paul Zajaczkowski, Plains Twp.; daughter, Amanda Zajaczkowski, Plains Twp.; granddaughter, Carly Dewey, Plains Twp.; brother, William Jordan, Wilkes-Barre; sister, Patricia Pearson, Nanticoke; and longtime girlfriend, Denise Goldowski Gillis, Plains Twp.; and nephews. Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family from Corcoran Funeral Home Inc., 20 S. Main St., Plains Twp..
