Alberta St. Clair Obituary

Alberta St. Clair, 78, of Exeter, passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021, at Residential Hospice.

Alberta was born Oct. 7, 1942, in Meshoppen, the oldest daughter of Harry Lavelle and Winifred Van Gorden.

During her early years, she worked in sewing factories and later she did private duty nursing. In her golden years, she was a homemaker who loved to cook and spend time with her grandchildren, Brandon and Devin Huntsinger, and great-granddaughter Jeanevieve.

She was a loving and caring person who had a big heart. She loved animals especially her cat, Fluffy, which she had many years of enjoyment. Over the years, she has made many acquaintances and friendships that lasted throughout her lifetime. She will be missed terribly by her family and friends, especially her companion of more than 30 years, Vince Biscotto.

In addition to her parents, Alberta was preceded in death by her brothers, Harry "Butch" Lavelle and Robert Lavelle.

Surviving are her daughter, Brenda Huntsinger and husband Eric, Wapwallopen; son, Jeff St. Clair, Harrisburg; daughter, Charlene Burrell and husband Mark, Ohio; sons, Randy St. Clair, Factoryville; and Brian St. Clair, Georgia; sisters, Bonnie Lavelle, Exeter; Sheri Lavelle and husband, Daniel Williams, Wilkes-Barre; Judy Puritan, Kentucky; Lori Towner and husband, Jay, North Carolina; brother Larry Lavelle and wife, Becky, Beech Creek; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be at held at 11 a.m. Tuesday from Yeosock Funeral Home, 40 S. Main St., Plains Twp. Interment will be in Wyoming Cemetery. Friends may call 10 a.m. until time of service.
