Eva Blaske

Eva Blaske Eva Marie Blaske, 94, Topeka, Kansas, passed away September 9, 2018.

Eva was born August 19, 1924, in Marysville, Kansas, the daughter of W.F. and Emma Kniestead Thomann. She graduated from Marysville High School in 1943. Eva married Elmer Blaske on November 9, 1947, in Marysville. She was an office manager for Perry Packing, J.C. Penney and City Sewing Machine Company. She was a past member of Phi Omega Pi. Eva and Elmer loved to travel, cheer for K-State sports and spend time with their family.

Eva is survived by her husband, Elmer; children, Mike Blaske (Ginger), Terry Leseberg (Larry) and Kathy Tryon (Pat); grandchildren, Brett, Katie, Whitney, Lori, Stephanie, Stacy, Sarah, Jenny and Jason; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by granddaughter, Kristina; great-grandson, Jeret; and half-brothers, Cleo and Buzz Thomann.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, at Fellowship Bible Church, 6800 SW 10th Avenue, Topeka KS 66615, with visitation one hour prior.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, at Marysville Cemetery,North 16th Street, Marysville KS 66508.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Fellowship Bible Church, sent in care of Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Road, Topeka KS 66614.
