It is with great sadness that the family of Lindsey Ray Murray, 78, announces his passing on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018, following injuries sustained from a car accident.
Lindsey was born and raised in Campbellsville and worked at Fruit of the Loom for more than 40 years before retiring as supervisor of the bleach house. He was an avid golfer who loved spending time with his family and friends.
He united in marriage to Jewell Yates on Oct. 20, 1973.
Besides his wife, Jewell Murray of Georgetown, he is survived by two sons and two daughters: Crystal Ducker and husband, Scott, of Georgetown; Ronnie Murray
of Campbellsville, Peggy Murray of Indiana and Michael Murray of Campbellsville; seven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett Murray and Eddie Thomas Rhodes Murray.
Funeral service was Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home by Rev. Dannie Nelson.
Burial was in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
