Beverly Davison 1933-2021 Beverly Davison, 87, of Clarinda, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at the Clarinda Regional Health Center. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 20, 2021 at the Ritchie Funeral Home, Clarinda, Iowa with Rev. Andy Rubenking officiating. Visitation with the family will be held 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 19, 2021, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Shearer Cemetery, Braddyville, Iowa. Memorials may be directed to the Clarinda Fire Department. Memories can be shared with the family at www.ritchiefuneralhome.com. Beverly Jean Davison, age 87, of Clarinda, Iowa formerly of New Market, Iowa passed away Tuesday morning, August 17, 2021 at the Clarinda Regional Health Center, Clarinda, Iowa. She was born November 11, 1933 in Dallas Township, Taylor County, Iowa, the daughter of Dwight Pratt and Bernice (Cunningham) Pratt. Beverly attended Frog Valley rural school and graduated from New Market High School in 1952. On July 6, 1952 she married the love of her life, Kenneth Clair Davison. To this union four children were born; Laura, Rita, Ray and Dale. Beverly was a life long farm wife who enjoyed gardening, raising chickens, and canning. Her specialties were baking delicious pies and everyone loved her famous mac & cheese. She enjoyed being chauffeured by her beloved husband Kenneth especially on family vacations. When she was young she enjoyed playing basketball and riding horses. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Dwight and Bernice Pratt; step mothers, Nevada and Ruth; sister, Nancy Kirsch; brother, Delbert Pratt; husband, Kenneth Davison; daughter, Laura Wymore. Beverly is survived by her children, Rita Talley of Shenandoah, Iowa, Ray Davison of Clarinda, Iowa, Dale Davison and wife Gwen of Independence, Missouri; sisters, Sue Strough and husband David of Gravity, Iowa and Ethel Leek and husband Dennis of Bolivar, Missouri; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; nieces; nephews and many friends.
