After retiring Darrell's biggest joy was driving back to Iowa to help his cousins working on the farms. His special treat was showing up during harvest with hot meals and dessertshe was a great cook and baker known to many for his banana nut bread. Darrell is survived by his daughter, Marianne Noverio Otte; grandchildren, Rachel Otte, Courtney Otte, Cara (Matt Holland) Noverio, and Nicholas (Amy) Noverio; great-grandchildren, Emily, Abigail, Kalea, Marlee, and Keegan.
