Debbie is survived by children that adored her. Shea B. Parker (Lee) of Clinton; Jessica B. Wood of Madison, and Ben Busching (Katie) of Oxford. She leaves three wonderful grandsons Luke, Tripp, and Charlie; Debbie's parents, Artis and Barbara Parker of Olive Branch, MS; sisters Dena Ellis (Leon) of Fort Worth, TX, Ronda West (Chris of Collierville, TN, and brother Alan Parker (Fran) of Cordova, TN. She is also survived by her mother-in-law Beverly Busching; sister-in-law Barby Grace (Jud) and brother-in-law Bill Busching (Cecilia), as well as a multitude of nieces, nephews, and cousins that she loved dearly.

Debbie was an active member of the Craftsman Guild of Mississippi and her gift for art brought joy and beautiful collectibles to people who loved her work throughout the Mid-South.

The family asks that anyone who wishes to memorialize Debbie do so to Highlands Presbyterian Church. Online guestbook www.wrightferguson.com

Not sure what to say?

I miss my sister more than anything, she was the light of our family! I can´t believe it has been 10 years, and I was so surprised to get this email today for a memory. She would be so proud of her amazing children and grandchildren. I miss her daily, and there isn´t a day that goes by I don´t think of something fun and happy about her. I know she is watching us all on a daily basis too wanting to tell us a thing or two!

I have just late last night learned of the loss of Debbie. I am a sorority sister from Ole Miss, and we lived next door to each other in the house. I am just so shocked and saddened to learn of this...Debbie and I had reconnected in the past 10 years or so and have kept up somewhat through FB and by phone. Curt, I pray for you and your dear children and grandchildren as you try to deal with such a huge loss in your lives. What a special person Debbie has always been, so positive, so upbeat, so happy. I'm glad she was my sister and next door neighbor....many great memories. Praying for God's peace in your hearts.

Dear Parkers and Buschings. I've put off writing on this page because I know that I can't say the right words to console you in your grief at the loss of Debbie. But I can offer you consolation at where Deb is right now. God's ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts and we cannot know the mind of God or be His counselor. But we do have His precious promises and we do know where Debbie is and that we can go to join her someday. Debbie was a precious daughter of our Father God and although we can't question why He took her at this particular moment, we know that He works all things together for our good. We love all of you and have been crying with you just like someday we will be rejoicing with you!
