Bernie McGee Obituary
Brandon, MS - Bernie Allen McGee, 41, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2019, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. Funeral services will be 2pm Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be 6-9pm Monday at the funeral home and starting at 1pm on Tuesday. Interment will follow in Crossroads Cemetery in Pelahatchie, MS.
Bernie was born on July 15, 1977, to Johnny Ray McGee and Brenda Howard McGee. Bernie loved the outdoors especially camping, hiking and riding his bike. He never met a stranger and loved his family and friends very much. Bernie was full of life.
Survivors include his wife, Paige McGee; mother, Brenda McGee; sons, David McGee and wife Tabitha, Nathan Muirhead, Scott McGee, John McGee and Kyle McGee; granddaughters, Isabella McGee, Lily May McGee Serenity McGee; sister Angie Williams and husband John; and niece, Nesya Williams.

Paige, I'm so very sorry to hear of the loss of your dear husband. My heart truly aches for you. I honestly couldn't imagine how you and your boys heart must feel. I know its been 9+ months but I feel for sure your heart feels like it was just yesterday. I came across re-run last night and I watched it again. I googled the show to see if you & your husband would be on another season. I was so got away with just honestly could not believe it I'm sure you had months of feeling like it had to be a bad dream. I can see so much of your personality in myself. I've never been no soft spoken one. My 24 year old daughter has inherited it also. I pray that God will give you & your boys all the peace, strength, guidance and pour blessings upon your life that you truly deserve & need in the rough and challenging days ahead. Your husband was so young and so full of life and so hopeless romantic. I pray you feel his spirit around you each and every day that your heart struggles with your new norm. One thing for sure God truly has blessed you with some mighty lovable young men to help brighten your tomorrow's. I also pray that you & your boys are staying safe & healthy during this horrible coronavirus pandemic. I know it's got to be so hard on a single mom of two boys. Please know that Bernie knew that you truly loved him and remember we are only passing through this life. By God's saving grace we get the opportunity to spend eternity with our love ones, one sweet day, oh what a time it will be. Hugs & lots of prayers to you & your boys.

I was so saddened when I read of Bernie's passing.
I am so sorry for your loss; I can see by watching your show on TV you loved him very much. God be with you in your time of need; sympathies to you and the children. Bernie way too young to go, RIP and watch over Paige and the family.
