My husband and I thought very highly of "Dr. Toni" as we called her. She was always patient and kind and we thought her most competent. While it was sad for us to find out that Dr. Henthorn is no longer with us, we celebrate to know she was a Christian and is now with our Lord. May Jesus walk closely beside Dr. Toni's family to get them through this time.

Toni was my eye doctor in Denver. We quickly discovered we grew up in the same small southern towns... Natchez and then Jackson, Miss. We had so many family friends in common from both towns. She was my Mississippi connection not to mention the best doctor ever. My sympathy for your heartbreaking loss. Cissy Glennon Seffinger

We learned of Dr. Toni's passing when my husband called for an appointment today. She was my doctor also. It was her essence that made it easy for me to trust her to remove my cataracts. She was beautiful externally and internally. We want her husband and daughter to know that they are in our thoughts and prayers. Candy and Jim Barber

I was so upset when I heard this news. I knew her as Dr. Bertolet when she was in Jackson, MS. She was MY Doctor and I loved her. What a wonderful and smart Doctor she was. I hated it when she told me she was moving but happy for her to be getting married. I pray for all of you at this time (and the days to come) that God's peace will comfort you as you remember the happy times with her. God's Blessings to each of you.

What a true Southern lady Toni was. I know she will be missed by her family. We might not understand this tragedy
but we will in the future. Sometimes it is hard to understand why bad things happen to good people . I know that she touched so many lives . I pray for peace and strength for her . Lean on God . He is there with you through this dark valley.

Several years ago when my best friend passed away after a long illness, I received a very touching card from Toni. She did not know me, but wanted me to know how highly she regarded our common friend, Jay, and how much she and her family enjoyed the time they spent with him on vacation skiing. She, Harold and Haley made a contribution to the American Cancer Society in his name, she wrote. I was incredibly touched by her kindness and remembrance. No doubt she will be sorely missed by the many people whose lives she touched in ways large and small. I will always remember the woman I did not know, who reached out to me from Colorado. With deepest sympathy.

So sad to hear of Toni's passing. We had been friends in Natchez and also at Ole Miss. Although our ways parted many years ago Toni was an extremely nice smart talented person and what you may or may not know about her is that she had a wonderful sense of humor and made me laugh so many times I really enjoyed the time that I got to spend with her she was a great friend
