Gary took his last breath on Jan. 9, 2019. He was born on Feb. 5, 1942, in Kansas.
Gary started out as a pilot of a small plane, where he met his wife, Rose. They built a house in Blue Valley Acres, raised four kids and lived there for more than 50 years.
Gary was a genius in whatever he built or did. He was a dynamite expert, where he got the nickname "Boom Boom." He helped put in all the water lines and sewer system for Idaho Springs.
He was also a ham radio operator and a miner. He was a great dad and husband most of all.
Gary was most at home in the pasture with his horses and his dog Loki.
Blue Valley will never be the same without him. Dad, you'll be missed.
