Jamey Hares, 43, passed away Friday, Sept. 7, 2018, in Westminster.
Jamey was born to Larry and Bettie Hares on Jan. 17, 1975, and was a 1993 graduate of Clear Creek High School. He started his career as a courtesy clerk at the local Safeway in Idaho Springs and worked his way up to regional manager with Pilot Flying J and eventually went into recruiting.
He was an avid snowboarder and enjoyed extreme 4-wheeling, camping and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his father, brother, wife and three kids, Alana, Cameron and Callista, and many friends.
He was a force of nature and the center of gravity for almost everybody he came into contact with, pulling them into his orbit. His enthusiasm was infectious, his heart always open, and he always believed in supporting others when they were most in need.
He will be greatly missed.
