Dear Dreger family,

I have such fond memories of my Cousin Marj! (I am Marj's first cousin, once removed since she was a first cousin to my father, Don Dreger.)

Marj was an inspiration to me as a medical professional and family member. I thought of her many times when decades later, I worked at the VA Wade Park Hospital (as it was called then) in the early 1980s.

I remember her well at the Dreger family farm where she lived with Uncle Bill and Aunt Leslie. I visited many times as a young girl with my parents, Don and Paule Dreger, and grandparents, John and Emma Dreger. Vivid are the memories of freshly-picked corn, which was rushed to a pot of boiling water for eager consumption with lots of butter!

Marj kept in touch with my parents and my mother after Dad's death in 2008. Mom died earlier this year and I was just going through the saved cards and saw many from Cousin Marj.

Marj lived a long and active life. Her intelligence, kind spirit, and family caretaking will be so missed in this world.

On behalf of the Don & Paule Dreger side of the family, please accept our deepest condolences on the passing of our very special family member.
