Billy Ray Fryar
CLINTON — Billy Ray Fryar, 75, passed away on Friday, Jan. 24, 2020 at Sampson Regional Medical Center. Billy was born Feb. 14, 1944 to the late Bishop Arthur Fryar Jr. and Ida (Williams) Fryar.
Bill was preceded in death by his brother Arthur (AJ) Fryar.
He leaves to cherish his memories: two sisters, Armelia F. Williams (Carmen) and Mary Fryar Morgan (Solomon), whom he loved, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31, at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, located at 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, N.C., with Dr. Ernest L. Fryar officiating. Burial will immediately follow in Roseboro Community Cemetery-Snowhill, located at 697 Marion-Amos Road in Roseboro, N.C.
A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 12 to 1 p.m.
