CLINTON — Mrs. N. Lucille J. Sessoms, 86, of 581 Concord School Road, passed away Thursday, Feb. 2, 2017 at Southwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, Feb. 12, at 3 p.m. at Mill Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, 701 Mill Creek Church Road, Roseboro, with Ms. Louise "Lou" B. Johnson officiating.
Born in 1930, in Sampson County, Lucille was the daughter of the late Noah Washington and Mary Lizzie Williamson Jackson and the widow of Fletcher "Minson" Sessoms. Lucille was the former co-owner and operator of Sessoms Jewelry of Clinton.
Lucille is survived by her daughter, Deborah Sessoms Hall and husband, Gary Wayne of Clinton; her half-sister, Mary Lyncia Hankins of Pinehurst; her granddaughter, Najshula Hall Lassiter and husband, Jarrett of Clinton; her grandson, Calvin Minson Hall of Clinton; and her great-grandchildren, Jackson Wayne Lassiter and Hadley Grace Lassiter.
The family will receive friends following the graveside service at the cemetery and other times at the home of Gary Wayne and Deborah Sessoms Hall, at 211 W. Arrowhead Drive, Clinton.
Memorials may be made in Lucille's honor to Graves Memorial Presbyterian Church Building Fund, 201 Fayetteville St. Clinton, NC 28328.
