Tonita "Toni" C. Bauske, 84, of Clovis, NM died Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Plains Regional Medical Center. Services will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017, 10:00 am, at Muffley Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Bonita Knox officiating. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens. Garrett Droeg, Ryan Droeg, Matthew Droeg, Tyler Lamm, Seth Colson, and Cade Colson will serve as pallbearers.
Tonita "Toni" Bauske was born June 27, 1932, in Edith, Colorado to Albert Salazar and Emma Talamante Salazar. She worked as a manager for Holsum Bread store for many years. Tonita was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary in VFW Post 3015, holding various positions, including Bingo chairman for many years. She also volunteered at our local VA hospital.
Survivors include: 3 daughters; Evelyn (Dan) Droeg of Phoenix, AZ, Donna Lamm of Clovis, NM, and Teresa Colson of Valdosta, GA, a son; Anthony Bauske of Albuquerque, NM, 13 siblings, 9 grandchildren; Audra Elliott, Amy Odell, Laura Colson Stidham, Garrett Droeg, Ryan Droeg, Matthew Droeg, Tyler Lamm, Seth Colson, and Cade Colson, 24 great-grandchildren, and numerous extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by: her parents; Alberto and Emma Salazar, a brother, and former husband; Amos T. Bauske.

Sorry to see your gone. I enjoyed the visits at the fence. The waves as we passed in the street coming and going through the many days and years. May you rest in peace.

Family and friends, please accept my sincere condolences. I worked bingo with Toni for several years for both the VFW and Military Order of Cooties. She was instrumental in raising funds for the veterans at the VA Hospital in Amarillo. Sure going to miss her.
