FLEMING - On April 29, 2018, Ms Dorothy Mae Miller departed this life and entered into the presence of the Lord, where she was welcomed home.
Dorothy was born to Rueben and Tiny Bell Stewart on Dec. 17, 1933. She was married to James Miller. James and three sons, Micheal, Kenneth and Kelvin, and one daughter, Sandy, preceded her in death.
She was a caring and loving person, Full of life. She was loved by many and was a mother to a lot of people.
Dorothy leaves to cherish her memory five daughters, Linda (Michael) Walthour, Pamela (Zareyton) Bennett, Regina (James) Bryant, Leslie Holder and Carmen Miller; six sons, David (Vonceil) Miller, Keith (Jacqui) Miller, Timothy (Stephanie) Miller, Reuben Miller and Alfonso Miller; one daughter-in-law, Michelle; four sisters, Carolyn Grant, Lorraine Nesbitt, Adrian (Ulysses) Moody, Rosemary Green; 23 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives.
Her wake will be 6-7 p.m. Thursday, May 3, at Dorchester Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, May 4, at The Seed Church, 1950 Chatham Parkway, Savannah.
Interment will be in Midway First Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
