Jack M. Brown of Midway, Georgia, passed away at the age of 72 on February 9, 2019 at Memorial Hospital in Savannah, Georgia.
Jack was born on June 5, 1946 to Clifford and Virginia (Moore) Brown, Of Clay County, W.V., now both deceased.
Jack served in the U.S. Army. He did two tours in Vietnam and retired after 20 years of service. He managed a gun repair shop in Midway, Ga., as a gunsmith for many years.
Jack was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He leaves behind his wife, Brenda (Tyler) Brown of 36 years; four children, Clifford (Mystique) Brown of Medina, N.Y., Nonnie Brown of Albion, N.Y., Jack Brown Jr. of Texas and Kimberly Brown of Texas; five grandchildren, Brandon (Nonnie) Brown, Austin, Dawson and Brooklyn (Cliff) Brown and Ashley (Kimberly) Brown; his brother and sisters, William Brown, Donna French, Barb Hinkley and Alice Jenks (deceased); and many nieces and nephews.
The family will hold a memorial service in New York at a later date, where Jack will be laid to rest in Mt. Albion Cemetery in Albion, N.Y., with full military honors.
