My favorite phrase was "I don't have time for foolishness.". She was a very proud and private person. She once told me that all the money in the world doesn't matter. All you need is what it takes to pay the bills, your family is your greatest possession (the love). She was never mean or rude to anyone. What she was, was honest and straight to the point, she was a giver, not a taker. I know that she put everything above herself. She really loved her children and grandchildren. I learned a lot from her and I treasure the private talks we had. When I first met her, we were not real friendly too each other. I don't know what happened but we sat down and listened to the other and I learned that we had a lot in common as far as our life and how we think. That's why all the stubborn headbutting. After that day, I had all new feelings towards her and a tremendous amount of respect. It's my honor to have been a tiny part of her life. She will be dearly missed. My heart goes out to her children and grandchildren. She is a legend.

I had the pleasure of working with Nurse Dobbs while she worked at GA State Prison. She was very nice and dedicated to her work. She was well loved at the prison and was known for always having a smile on her face. She will be missed. My thoughts and prayers to the Dobbs family.
