Mrs. Pearlie Mae Maxwell Fuller, affectionately known as "Hun", transitioned into eternal life on Friday, January 25, 2019 at the Bryan County Health and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 97.
She was born to the late John Maxwell and Ophelia Golden Maxwell on April 22, 1921 in Liberty County, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Dea. Sylvester Fuller, Sr., her daughter, Estella Fuller, four brothers, Johnnie Maxwell, Clinton Maxwell, Moultrie Maxwell, and Albert Maxwell; and two sisters, Lalla Bea Maxwell Roberts, and Lillie Mae Maxwell.
At an early age, she became a member of Midway First Presbyterian Church in Midway, Georgia. She later joined Community Missionary Baptist Church in Midway, Georgia where she served as faithful member of the senior choir for many years.
She united in holy matrimony to Sylvester Fuller, Sr. in 1941. They were blessed with two sons, Larry Jerome Fuller and Sylvester Fuller, Jr. and one daughter, the late Estella Fuller.
She was educated in the public schools of Liberty County, Georgia, and she attended the National Youth Administration (NYA) at the Dorchester Academy in Dorchester, Georgia.
She leaves to cherish her sweet memories; her two sons, Larry Jerome Fuller of Ludowici, Ga., and Sylvester Fuller, Jr. of Richmond Hill, Ga.; a daughter-in-law Leona Fuller of Midway, Ga., five grandchildren, Cynthia Fuller Atkinson (Alphonso), Patricia Fuller Waye (Warren), Jawann Wilson, Cedric Fuller, Kimberly Fuller; five great-grands, DeVetta Myles, Alleasha Atkinson, Jasmine Waye, Allasyn Atkinson, JaLesa Waye; seven great-great grands, JaVanda Myles-Kennedy, Adiah Fuller, Senai Greene, Ciera Fuller, Alaya Fuller, Dailah Flagg, Genesis Marshall; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services are at noon, Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Community Missionary Baptist Church, East Oglethorpe Hwy, Midway, Georgia 31320
Interment will be in Mallard Cemetery.
