JESUP - Sgt. Adam M. Wenger, 27, of Jesup, originally of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., passed away Nov. 5, while serving in the U. S. Army in Iraq.
He was also a veteran of action in Kosovo and Afghanistan. He proudly served his country and was a wonderful father and an amazing husband.
Survivors are his wife Brandy Driggers Wenger of Jesup; three daughters, Erica and Starla Adams of Stillson, and Aubrey of Jesup; four sons, Austin, Landin, Jacob and Matthew, all of Jesup; his mother. Jo Wenger of Mt. Pleasant; his father, David Wenger of West Virginia; a brother and sister-in-law, David and Kate Wenger of Mt. Pleasant; three nieces; and four nephews.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday from the Rinehart & Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bobby Vangiller and David Wenger officiating. Interment will be in the Spring Grove Cemetery with full military honors.
Visitation was Thursday evening at the funeral home.
The Rinehart & Sons Funeral Home of Jesup is in charge of the arrangements.
