HINESVILLE - Mr. Tyrone Adams, 53, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018, at his residence.
He was born on June 14, 1964, and adopted when he was 6 years old by the late Alfreta Adams. Tyrone attended Liberty County Schools. After graduation he joined the Navy.
He was a community leader and a member of Chosen Ryders MC, a coach for Liberty County Recreation Department, owner of the Yellow Cab, a member of the NAACP, and he was appointed to the HAMPO Board. Tyrone was a member of the Midway Congregational Church.
His mother and two granddaughters preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memories wife of 27 years, Jodee Adams; children, Anastasia Adams, Ashely Adams, Anthony Adams, Derrik Carlen and Olivia Adams; sister, Pamela Alexander; 11 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
His wake will be 6-7 p.m. Friday, June 15, at Midway Congregational Church, 8815 E. Oglethorpe Hwy., Midway.
Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, June 16, at the Frank V. Givens Memorial Chapel of Dorchester Funeral Home, 7842 E. Oglethorpe Hwy., Midway.
Interment will be private.
Dorchester Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements.
