Diana passed away on March 2, 2018 at the age of 68 years.Diana Ileene Maluga (nee Jacobs) was born September 22, 1949 in Kamsack Saskatchewan. She was raised on her cherished family farm in the Togo District. She moved with her soon to be husband Andrew to the Edmonton area in 1971; they were married later that year. In 1972 they moved to Calgary for Andy's work and started a family first with Duane followed by Raylene 2 years later. In 1978 the family moved to Cochrane. Her days were filled with volunteering, baking, feeding all the neighbourhood kids and her family. In 1999 she got the gift of her grandson Cody. As Cody grew and her parents aged she spent much of her time travelling the highways between Kamsack and home. As Andy retired she travelled on an Alaskan cruise followed by a cruise from New York to Quebec City which she loved every minute of. In 2015 she was diagnosed with breast cancer which she courageously fought until the loss of Andy in October 2017. From that time the cancer took hold and she spent her remaining days with her loving son and her Debbie, reliving the past and talking of her life. She passed with family at her side in Rosedale Hospice after a rapid change in her cancer. Diana is survived by her son Duane (Debbie), grandson Cody and her daughter and a sister. She was predeceased by her parents William and Mary Jacobs, her brother Richard and the love of her life Andy. At Diana's request there will be no service and her final resting place with her husband and beloved Kanga will be in Togo, Saskatchewan.
