June 1, 1948 - January 7, 2021. Hugh passed away suddenly from a very aggressive form of lymphoma. He worked many years at Woodward Governor, and later for GE, Precision Governors, and Eclipse. He moved several times for work and retirement to Brazil, Rockford, and Hawaii making many friends along the way. He is preceded in death by his parents and nephew, Spencer McLaughlin. Hugh is survived by his wife of 41 years, Lita, and his three daughters.

A private inurnment ceremony was held at Grandview Cemetery. A Celebration of Life Celebration is being planned for this summer close to his birthday when we can gather and celebrate.
