Catherine Knight Obituary
Catherine "Polly" V. Knight passed away quietly at dusk on Friday, November 10, 2017. Polly was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Lewis Isaac and Aimee Cole Birdsall in 1918. She grew up in Glencoe, Illinois alongside her older brother, Lewis Cole Birdsall. She married George Whitely Valentine in 1952. They raised two daughters, Amy Valentine Zelenak and Cynthia Birdsall Valentine. Widowed, she married William Merrill Knight in 1988. They relocated to the west wrapping up their lives in Fort Collins. She is survived by her daughters Amy (Steve), Cynthia (now of Asheville, NC), plentiful cousins, nieces, nephews and two grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be at Allnutt Drake Chapel at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 20, 2017. Family and friends may visit www.allnutt.com to share memories or leave a message of condolence for the family.

Weston and I enjoyed visiting with Polly when she was in New Mercer and Columbine West. She would like to play hide and seek with the treats for him. We often would get into discussions about OT and PT and how it has changed over the many years. She will be missed! Love, Barb Allan
