Edward Joseph Ehrmann, 65, passed away June 23. Edward was born September 18, 1952 to Catherine and Leo Ehrmann.
Edward graduated from Boulder High School in 1970. He received his bachelor's degree in architecture from Arizona State University in 1979 and worked as an architect for local firms. His biggest and most important designs included DIA, the former Stapleton International Airport, Saint Josephs Hospital, Denver Public Schools and the University of Colorado.
Edward was also a very talented water-color artist. He enjoyed the hobby of railroad building at the HO gauge level. He was a bright Boy Scout leader for both of his boys, seeing his sons through the level of Eagle Scout. Edward supported his daughter, Emily, through many dance recitals and band concerts. Edward was a loving husband and father; his family was the most important thing to him.
Survivors include his wife, Vicki, of Brighton; sons, Tom of Hawaii and Michael of Brighton; daughter, Emily, of Fort Collins; twin sister, Joan (John) Sozio of York, Nebraska; sisters Carol (Al) Armstrong of Phoenix, and Cathy (John) Dilliee of Boulder; brothers Michael (Elizabeth) Ehrmann, of Sterling, Peter (Becky) Ehrmann, of Loveland, and Phil (Monica (Ehrmann of Humble, Texas.
Private services will be at a later date. Tabor-Rice Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
