SAMUEL BROOKS, 90, retired US Postal Service, member of Mt. Olive Catherdral CME Church, Army veteran, and member of the Corner Club, passed June 20, 2014. Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m., Wednesday, June 25, and Service 11 a.m., Thursday, June 26, both at N.J. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 12 S. Parkway W. Burial in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. Mr. Brooks was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Brooks. He leaves two daughters, Cheryl Y. Brooks and Anit L. Dobbs, both of Memphis; three sons, Marshall V. Brooks of Memphis, Ronald E. Brooks, Sr. of Indianapolis, IN and Larry A. Brooks of San Diego, CA; one sister-in-law, Charlene Brooks of Sacramento, CA, and 11 grandchildren. N.J. Ford & Sons Funeral Home (901)948-7755
