I was very saddened to learn of Mr. Siemer's passing. He was such a loyal advocate for animals and the one true voice for those at Memphis Animal Shelter when he served on their Advisory Board. I was fortunate to have several conversations with him about his love of animals. He will be sorely missed by many. Rest in peace, Don. God's blessings and peace to his family.

Evonne,
So sorry that I did not know that Don had passed until today. My husband worked with Don when he was a prosecutor. Don was a very kind man who loved you to pieces. His compassion for people and animals made him a special person. Please know that you have our heartfelt sympathy and prayers.

Evonne,
May God bless you in this time of sorry and may happy memories of the sweet man that was Don Siemer bring you peace. Don was God's light in a dim, imperfect world. Without fail, he could always find the goodness in others. His quick wit, crazy life stories, and kindness were always an uplifting part of my day. The impact he had on my life and on the lives of so many in Memphis and Shelby County will never be forgotten. He will be missed. Rest in Peace my Beloved Friend.
