Deago was a charming, witty, talented artist. I am so honored that I got to work with him at the Hope Academy. I think of him often and mourn the loss of that bright shining smile and the great heart within. You all have my greatest sympathy.

Deago was a vibrant student while at the Hope Academy. HIs participation in The Romeo and Juliet Project was good humored and very very smart. I became very fond of him during a residency in June of 2015. I was very happy to see him again in October of 2016. His smile will stay with me forever. I am so saddened the world has lost him and wish his family and friends peace during this outrageously difficult time. "Good night, Sweet Prince. and flights of angels sing thee to thy rest."
