Janie L. Lewis, 94 of Memphis, Tennessee died on Friday, July 7, 2017, at her residence in Memphis, Tennessee. Born Thursday, February 8, 1923 in Memphis, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Ira Grimes and the late Irene Mosby Grimes. She was retired employee for Regional Medical Center-Memphis. Surviving are son, Osie B Lewis, Jr. and daughter, Denise D Lewis Hazel. The visitation will be from 10 a.m. -10:55 a.m. on Saturday July 15, with Funeral service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, all at Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church located at 867 Walker Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee 38126.
