I remember how she challenged us in nursing school. I would stay up half the night (or longer!) working on care plans when I had her in clinicals. She nudged us to push ourselves a little harder and encouraged us to be better than just average. She was a perfect instructor. She will be missed.

Mrs. Wilson was one of my favorite Nursing instructors at MHSON, (Aug 1981-Dec 1983), graduating class, Dec 83. She had such patience, kindness and was a true role model for for her students. You could go to her for anything, including homesickness. Very mothering. She was a devout Catholic as noted above, a Eucharistic Minister and a Minister to the Sick. GOD bless you Mrs. Wilson.

Ms. Wilson was my instructor for my first nursing course, I couldn’t have asked for a more caring and patient person to guide me through. Now I’m an instructor and she is my role model, I think of her every time we have clinical. She will be missed.

Annette was a very loved faculty member at Methodist School of Nursing. We often thought that there was nothing that she didn't know. She was brilliant. Also loved her humor and her very easy quick smile. As noted by others, she loved her children intensely and was very proud of them. I haven't seen her in many years but she has lived fondly in my heart.

My heart goes out to the family. Few people in this world make the mark your Mom did. First a mother , who loved her children intensely. She shared that love and mothering to anyone who was in need, and many children hold her so deep in their heart and soul for the love and care she gave them as if they were her own. Indeed they were her own. She was an amazing nurse, and educator. So so many nurses hold her dear in their hearts, learning from her , taking that knowledge to care for others with the same passion she had that she passed on. She loved her church and held her faith close to her heart, sharing it with all she knew. Annette Wilson will be greatly missed by all she touched. The world is a better place because of her time here with us all.
