Anthony Leon "Tony" Ventrini Obituary
Anthony "Tony" Leon Ventrini

Olive Branch, ms

Anthony (Tony) Leon Ventrini, 61, passed away Monday July 10th, 2017.Tony enjoyed life, loved people and laughing. He was a generous, compassionate man, loved by all that knew him. He was the best husband in the universe and a wonderful father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle. Tony was a talented teacher and a lifelong student that never grew tired of learning new things. He graduated from Oakhaven Highschool and the University of Memphis with a B.A. of Psychology, a B.A. of Philosophy, a B.A. of Criminal Justice, a Master's degree in Computer Science and a Master's degree in Math. He was also a member of Mensa. He worked for the United States Postal Service for 35 years and retired from it in 2007 as the manager of operations and support. He is much loved and will be missed by many people. Tony was a very special person in that he made a new friend everywhere he went. He had a kind word for everyone and he loved to make people laugh. He was serene and gentle and wise, and he knew how well silence worked between two people just as well as words. There is an empty space in our lives now that was uniquely his and nothing will ever fill it quite the way that he did. We love him, and we will never, ever forget him.
