Roberta Barbara Bronstein Weinberger, 89, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2017 at Baptist Reynolds Hospice House. She was born in Memphis on September 6, 1927 to Betty and Dr. Jacob Bronstein. She graduated from Memphis Central High School and attended the University of Miami.

In the 1950s, Bobbye had several radio shows in West Memphis including "Listen Ladies" and "Pat's Platters."

As a young woman, Bobbye's beauty and tall and slender figure led her into modeling. She modeled for some of Memphis' finest stores, including Levy's, Helen of Memphis, Julius Lewis and Gus Mayer, and also ran a successful modeling school, Keegan's.

Fashion was one of Bobbye's true loves. She owned the boutique Accessories Etc. for nearly a decade and loved helping her customers and friends with their wardrobes. When she closed her store, she continued in fashion and sales at the SteinMart boutique.

She was a life long member of Temple Israel and was an avid volunteer for many organizations.

Bobbye was preceded in death by her son, Jeff Weinberger. She is survived by her brother, Dr. Maury Bronstein; a nephew, Paul Bronstein; nieces, Diane Halperin (Mark) and Susan Woodman (George); great-nephew, Jacob Woodman; great-niece, Rachel Woodman, and her devoted friend, Barbara Pera.

Bobbye donated her body to medical research, and a memorial service will be held at a later date. The family requests any tributes be directed to a .
