Felix Young Frayser, Sr.

Olive Branch, MS

Felix Young Frayser, Sr. was born on March 17, 1929 in Senatobia, MS and went to his heavenly home on June 7, 2017. He passed peacefully at home surrounded by his family and caregiver. Felix founded Bluff City Refrigeration in 1960. With hard work, honesty, and perseverance, he built a company of which he was very proud. His son, Chuck, carries on the company today with the same principles upon which it was founded. He was a long time member and deacon at Elliston Baptist Church in Memphis, TN. He was also a member of the Masons for more than 50 years. He served his country in the Korean Conflict from 1951-1953. During his retirement years, Felix enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, and volunteering at the Food Bank at his 2nd church home, Hernando First Assembly in Hernando, MS. To cherish his memory, he leaves behind his loving wife of 67 years, Corra Dell Kelly Frayser; a son, Chuck Frayser (Daphne) of Germantown, TN; daughters, Sheri Brown (Don) of Horn Lake, MS and Teri Ratcliffe (John) of Olive Branch, Ms; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews, relatives, and friends who will mourn his passing. A special thanks to his loving and faithful caregiver, Mrs. Earlene Bolds. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Young Frayser and his mother, Fannie Frayser; sisters, Iva Mae Frayser, Estelle Peterson, and Robbie Little. Visitation will be held Friday, June 9, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, MS 38654.
