Hilda "Tillie" Tims Draughon Inman, the second of five children, was born on December 29, 1912 in McCool, MS to Washington Irving and Amerdine Buckner Tims. The family relocated to Boyle, MS in 1926. She graduated from Mississippi Woman's College (now William Carey University) in Hattiesburg, and on the evening of graduation was married to Robert G. (Bob) Draughon of Hattiesburg.

Tillie moved to Memphis in 1943. She taught at Mrs. Paine's Kindergarten, was Secretary of Glenview Presbyterian Church and Owner & Principal of Tillie Inman's Estate Sales. She was a founding member of Las Comediennes, a member of Kennedy Book Club, was active in The King's Daughters and a member of Whitehaven Presbyterian Church.

After the death of her first husband, Tillie married J. Sterling Inman in 1958 and spent their thirty-three years together heavily involved in local and national activities of the Farm Equipment Industry, The Rotary Club, their Church, their small farm in DeSoto County, traveling and fishing.

Tillie was predeceased by her two husbands; her brother, Lowery Tims of Cleveland, MS; her sisters, Lorraine Tims Hill Acord of Boyle, MS, Nina Tims Crawley of Houston, TX, Sue Tims Lipe of Port Arthur, TX; and her son Richard Draughon of Clarksdale, MS. She is survived by son Robert Tims Draughon (Zane)of Columbus, GA; daughter Sally Inman Bilbery (Waymon) of Memphis, son Jim Inman (Karen) of Memphis, 11 Grandchildren and numerous Great Grandchildren.

A memorial service for Tillie will be held Saturday, March 4, at 11:30 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be sent to Memphis Oral School for the Deaf, 7901 Poplar Avenue, Germantown, TN 38138 or Magnolia Manor's League of the Good Samaritan, 2010 Warm Springs Road, Columbus, GA 31904.
