Kenneth Phillip Ketcham, 68, formerly of Germantown, TN passed away surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Memphis, TN.

Ken was born in Hennipin County, MN. The son of Stanley and June (Bronkala) Ketcham.

Ken grew up in the Eagan community of St. Paul, MN. After high school Ken attended Bemidji State College. Ken worked full time while attending the William Mitchell School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctorate.

On October 4, 1975 Ken was united in Holy Matrimony to Lois Marie Meline, formerly of Hendrum, MN. They lived in Eagan, MN and had two sons, Matthew and Kevin. In 1985 , the family moved to Memphis, TN.

Ken loved serving his community. He was a member of Toastmasters, CERT, Leadership Germantown and spent decades with the local Lions club. Kenneth loved serving the lord above all. He served on councils at Lord of Life Lutheran Church and later at Epiphany Lutheran Church.

Ken was a man of varied interests. He loved reading novels, aviation, bird watching and nature. Ken was a life-long Minnesota Vikings, Twins fan and of course he loved cheering on the Memphis Tigers and Grizzlies. He also loved the arts. He supported National Public Radio, local theater, museums and enjoyed classical music.

Besides his wife Lois, he leaves behind his two sons, Kevin of Los Angeles, Matthew (Jennifer) of Olive Branch MS; grandchildren, Schuyler, Blake, and Gabriel; sister, Mary (Larry); brother, Tom of Minneapolis and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and June, his brother, Charlie.

A celebration of Ken`s life will be held on October 28 at the Agape Chapel, St. George`s High School 1880 Wolf River Blvd. Collierville,TN. Visitation: 1-2 p.m. Service: 2-3 p.m. At 4:30 p.m., a celebratory reception will be held at 13290 Lapstone Lane, Olive Branch, MS 38654. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Epiphany Lutheran Church, Germantown Lions club, and Grace on Wings.
