Lawrence Edward Clark, 93, of Olive Branch, went to be with the Lord, Jesus Christ Friday, September 22, 2017. Mr. Clark, originally from Tupelo, MS, was a U.S. Navy Veteran who served in World War II. Upon completion of his Naval service, Mr. Clark graduated from Mississippi State University and went on to work for IBM where he retired after 37 years of service. He was a member of Longview Heights Baptist Church in Olive Branch and was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Dorothy Clark and his sister, Thellis Parker. He is survived by his children, Carolyn Clark, Bobby Clark (Tiffany), and Larry Clark (Darlene), his brother, Elmer Clark (Elna), six grandchildren, Paul Clark (Julie), Rachel Baker (Jarrid), Jennifer Powell (Jay), Jaclyn Clark, Bryce Clark, Sarah Prisock (Evan), and seven great-grandchildren, Nathan and Olivia Clark, Eli Wollert, Myles and Jacob Baker, and June and Grady Powell. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 24, 2017 from 6 to 8pm and again on Monday, September 25, 2017 from 10am until the service begins at 11am, all at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch. Interment will follow at Tupelo Memorial Park Cemetery, Tupelo, MS.
