Lois M. DeBerry Obituary
Lois M. DeBerry

Four years ago, July 28, 2013, you left this earth to take your rest and receive your reward in heaven. The hearts of many was met by deep sadness and a profound since of loss. Individuals for whom you provided a mother and wife's love, a granny's hug, sounding board, a mentor's advice and a friend's support were saddened and afraid. You were and remain loved, admired and respected by so many because of your contributions and commitment to making their lives better. Your memories are precious and reside in our hearts and minds every day. Lois Marie DeBerry-Traughber you were an inspiration. You left not only precious memories, words of wisdom and unforgettable lessons; you left us with things to do, to think about and to live by. You reminded us that our work is a commentary on our character. You reminded us to never be afraid of where we are going when we know God is going with us. So many precious memories. The lyrics, credited to Memphis-born J.B.F. Wright in 1925, are our testament to your legacy. A legacy that will live and light the world forever.

"Precious memories how they linger, how they ever flood my soul. In the stillness, of the midnight. Precious sacred scenes unfold".

The tireless work you did to advance our society is remarkable and a tribute to your life. Your wisdom, guidance and compassion are missed by family, friends and thousands who admired your contributions. Your Precious Memories live forever.
