Louis Frederick Bosdorf, Jr.

Memphis, TN

Louis Frederick Bosdorf, Jr., 71, son of the late Louis and Bertha Mae Bosdorf of Memphis, died on January 20, 2017. Graveside service will be held at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 4000 Forest Hill Irene Road on February 9th at 1:15 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to, and scroll to the bottom and select "Donate in memory or honor".

Mr. Bosdorf was survived by a brother, Robert Bosdorf of Alamosa, Colorado, and two sisters, Melissa Bosdorf of Memphis, and Edna Garrett of Perry, Georgia. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving in Viet Nam.

Lou grew up in Memphis, graduated from Messick High School in 1963. In high school he pitched for the Messick state-championship baseball team and played quarterback for the football team. He was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity while he attended MSU. He sang and played guitar in "The Blazers" band in high school and college.
