Mary Margaret (Campbell) Weigel of Memphis 1922 - 2017 departed this life on March 6th.

Pre-deceased by her devoted and loving husband Ralph, her parents Ailie Christine (Bostic) and Frank Campbell, and her brothers Frank (Bonnie - living) and Joseph Campbell (Marika - deceased). She is lovingly survived by children Judith (Danny) Felker, Dr John Weigel, David (Sung Chu) Weigel, and sister-in-law Kathleen (Jack) Haslup. Grandmother to Kristen Pillow (Kenneth), Richard Weigel (Heather), Brian Weigel, Christine Gangwisch (Steve) and Bradley Curtis (Richard). Great grandsons Wesley (Elizabeth) and Wade (Lindsay) Curtis, Anita and Jaylee Pillow. Great-great-grandmother to Daniel Curtis and Tatum Curtis. She always remembered fondly her many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Born in Union, West Virginia. Eighteen year resident and communicant of Immaculate Conception Church, Dayton, Ohio before moving to Memphis, Tennessee in 1965. She was a communicant for many years of Holy Rosary Church in Memphis. A graduate of Morris Harvey College (University of Charleston WV). Her first teaching job was in a one room school house in rural West Virginia. Later she did substitute teaching for many years in Ohio and Memphis. She loved helping all of her grade school children. Her other loves besides family and church were working with her ladies groups and charities as well as gardening, and loving and helping her many many good friends.

A memorial mass will be celebrated in her memory on April 1st at 4:30 pm at Holy Rosary Church, Memphis (during Lent no flowers permitted in church).

St Jude Children's Hospital held a very strong spot in her heart and prayers. Donations to St Jude, Holy Rosary Church, Crossroads Hospice or a worthy cause of your choosing would be greatly appreciated in lieu of flowers.
