Meldona Sulcer-Wills, age 81, a loving mother, grandmother and wife went to be with our Lord on February 2, 2017. She was preceded in death by her daughter Laurie Ann McCommon, and her mother Louise Beasley. She leaves her husband Victor Wills, 3 daughters Donna Woolfolk (Mark), Melodie Faith Sulcer and Victoria Wills, 2 sons, Thomas and Paul Wills. She has 4 grandchildren, Ben McCaffery (Jenny), Christine McCommon, Brandon Brooks (Morgan) and Samuel Woolfolk. Four great grandchildren, Caryanne Tipler, Thomas and William McCaffery and Karley Brooks. She was a retired registered nurse with extensive experiences throughout Memphis. She flew as an RN for a time with a fixed wing air ambulance service, which served the mid-south area. She voluntered with Memphis In May, the Southern Folklore and numerous other charitable functions. After retiring as an RN she worked in a management position for the Morale and Welfare Division at the Memphis Defense Depot and later the Armed Forces Exchange Service in Lousiana, Arkansas and back to Memphis to retire. After marrying Victor in 1996 they traveled throughout the world with numerous cruises and excursions. Her loves were her family, her flower gardens and decorating her home and garden. Visitation will be at the Memphis Funeral Home on Poplar Ave at 5 to 7pm on February 7th and funeral services at 10am on February 8th.
