On December 19,2018 Myra Janelle Loar, 77, became neighbors with the Lord. While we will miss her, we celebrate the life she lived and the relationships she forged, including; Her partner for 20 years, Ronnie Peavehouse; Her children, David Mark Furr and Paula White-Cain; her grandchildren, Bradley Charles Knight, Lauren (Last Name) and Paul Furr,and five great-grandchildren to whom she is affectionately remembered as Mamcap.

Born May 3, 1941 in Watervalley, MS as one of four siblings, Janelle would work her way through four colleges, earning two Masters degrees. Being a resilient and hard-working woman, she tackled multiple careers in a professional journey that ended with her selling antique goods on Ebay, which she called "junking". She was passionate about the Grizzlies, Ole Miss football, literary thrillers, and Democratic politics. Never afraid to be the "only" in the midst of "many", Janelle twirled to her own tune all the way to eternity. Her memorial service will be January 15, 2019 at 1 p.m., In the Legends Lounge.
