Peter Biasella Obituary
Peter Biasella

Knoxville, TN

Local business owner, Peter J. Biasella, 79, peacefully passed away March 31, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He grew up in Memphis, TN and attended Christian Brothers High School. He graduated from Mississippi College in 1959 and began his career with Terminix International as a field representative in 1960. Pete (as he was known by friends) moved to Knoxville in 1964 after purchasing the Knoxville Terminix franchise. He loved his business and thought the world of the people he worked with. He was proud to be part of the Knoxville Community. Pete also honorably served in the U.S. Air Force Reserve. One of his proudest moments while serving was when his unit was called upon during the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962. Pete was a long-time member of the Kiwanis Club and Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

His generosity had no boundaries and neither did his time for storytelling. There was nothing Pete liked more than an interesting conversation with a good (or new) friend (or anyone who would listen). Pete always had a smile on his face and a story to share; he could have an engaging conversation with anyone. Pete's children, grandchildren, and employees were the pride and joy of his life. The legacy of Pete's kind spirit, passion for business, love of storytelling and zest for life will live on through them. He will be dearly missed by family and friends.
