PHILIP ANTHONY BOLLHEIMER III, 20, passed way November 29, 2011 in a one-car crash on East Parkway So. in Memphis. His car struck a tree at the curb’s edge where broken sacks of wet leaves had fallen into the street. Also killed was his long-time dear friend Sam Peursum. Philip was born in Memphis October 21, 1991. He attended Maria Montessori School and graduated from CBHS in 2010. He was pursuing a college business degree through the Wilson School of Hospitality & Resort Management at The University of Memphis. Philip was a cherished friend of so many types of people the young, the mature, and people of different backgrounds. His infectious grin, spontaneous humor, and compassion for people in need were ubiquitous. He leaves his parents Philip A Bollheimer Jr. and C. Denise Henderson Bollheimer, a sister Kathleen “Katie” D. Bollheimer, a grandmother Kathleen Henderson, and lots of loving relatives and friends. A celebration of Philip’s life will begin with visitation on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 4:30 at The University of Memphis Holiday Inn Kemmons Wilson School of Hospitality and Resort Management at 3700 Central Avenue in Memphis.. The ceremony will be from 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. Memorials to Philip can be made to the Philip Bollheimer Student Aid Fund at Christian Brothers High School (5900 Walnut Grove Road, 38120). Philip will be buried at Forest Hill East (901)382-1000.
