Warren Isadore Johnson born April 23 1929 in Memphis and only son of Captain Isadore Scarrett Johnson and Eula Geeslin Johnson of Memphis.

He attended St. Thomas grade school. He graduated from Baylor Military High School in Chattanooga, TN.

He was a very devout Catholic and entered the seminary, attending St Mary's Baltimore Md., St. Bernard Cullman Alabama and graduated from St Ambrose Davenport IA and received his degree in Philosophy.

After graduation from St Ambrose he chose to not take final vows

He was accepted to Notre Dame school of law and University of Tennessee school of medicine.

He chose the pursuit of a career in Chemistry and Pharmaceuticals and met through a mutual professor at University of Memphis his bride to be Claire OCallaghan

They married June 11 1955 celebrating 62 years of marriage.

He joined Glaxo Smith Kline in 1957 where he built a professional career in Pharmaceutical Sales and was Regional Marketing Management and retired

in 1990. Following his retirement, he became National Marketing Consultant for Nova Pharmaceutical and completely retired in 1994.

He enjoyed 33 years of retirement including travel with his bride and his family. He enjoyed fishing, ballgames and watching the growth of his family with 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He enjoyed making jokes and teaching us all German words. He loved to quote great philosophers and writers of the classics. He was devoted to his faith and attended daily Mass, serving his Church through ministries at Holy Spirit Church Memphis for 44 yrs and visiting the sick in hospitals. He was a big believer in contributing to numerous charities.

He is survived by his son Warren Johnson (Kay) grandchildren Austin,Blake,Cole and Caroline: son Mark Johnson (Brenda) grandchildren Erin and Darby: daughter Mary Kate Reide grandchildren Rachael (Eric) great grandchildren Alex, Anna, and Isabella.

Visitation wifi be at Holy Spirit Catholic Church Tuesday Oct 10 at 9:30 am to be followed by mass at 10:30 am. Burial Service to follow at Calvary cemetery.
